The adoption process at Pet Network:

Pet Network's highest priority is making sure that each of our animals is placed into a caring and loving home. Our staff works to not only match people to pets, but also the pets to their potential adopters. We will work with you to find the perfect fit for your family!

If you find an animal you are interested in adopting please fill out an adoption application. Our staff will review your application and contact you regarding any questions or concerns we have. You will then need to (if you haven't already) come in to meet the pet you are interested in in-person. If you have current pets it is a good idea to bring them along as well to make sure that everyone will be happy with your new addition!

Once your application is approved and you have met your new forever-friend, you will be asked to sign an adoption contract.

Pet Network has created an adoption package that is very valuable to both you and your pets.

Each adoption at Pet Network comes with:
- The animal is spayed/neutered
- Each animal is vaccinated (appropriate to age)
- Each animal is microchipped and the chip is registered
automatically at the time of adoption
- Each animal adopted comes with a $750 insurance policy
that covers most major illnesses, FREE to the adopter
for 30 days.
- Each animal is given a bag of Science Diet (the food
we feed in the shelter) upon adoption!

What does this mean to you? It means that each adopted pet comes with more than $1,100 of "extras" AND you get to save the life of a special animal in need!

How much does it cost to adopt?
Our adoption fees vary on a case by case basis. You will need to contact staff to find out the adoption fee of any pet you are interested in.

Why do the fees vary?
No life is more valuable than another, however many animals we take in are in need of extensive medical or behavioral assistance. Some animals take months, or even years to find their forever home while others are virtually guaranteed to have multiple applications within hours of arriving at our organization.

To help generate the funds necessary to continue our life-saving work adoption fees are based on a number of factors including: age, breed, size, medical or behavioral issues, and length of time in the shelter.
