While we’re here to assist, there are certain limitations to our involvement in third-party fundraisers. What Pet Network Can Do: Provide logos and branding materials for your event Supply informational collateral about Pet Network’s mission and work Offer light promotion through our channels, when possible Share general organizational information to help your event succeed What Pet Network Cannot Do: Solicit donors or sponsors on your behalf Guarantee staff or volunteer participation at your event Guarantee promotion, media exposure, or public recognition for your event Provide insurance coverage or liability for your event We appreciate your understanding and look forward to collaborating with you to make a positive impact! Checks Kindly mail or deliver your check to: Pet Network Lake Tahoe 401 Village Blvd. Incline Village, NV 89451 Helpful information to include in with your check: Name of your event of fundraiser in the memo of your check Date on which your event or fundraiser was held Approximate number of donors who contributed to your fundraiser Cash Donations Please bring your cash gifts directly to the shelter. We don't want your hard work getting lost in the mail! When you arrive with your gift, please ask to speak with our Development Team so we can celebrate you! Tax Receipts Please email sbalter@petnetwork.org to request donation receipts. Tax receipts will be issued only if the donor did not receive anything of value (other than items of minimal value such as a boxed lunch, small event token, general sponsor recognition, and/or promotion at the event). Contributions are tax-deductible only if they are made directly to Pet Network Humane Society. Tax receipts for personal checks from individual donors will be sent directly to the name and address on the check, not the event organizer. Director of Community Medicine Dr. Nicholas Robl, DVM Dr. Nick Robl completed his D.V.M. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 following an M.A. in Biological Anthropology from Kent State University in Ohio. He has experience practicing veterinary medicine in a variety of settings including private practice, sanctuaries, shelters, and clinics across the United States. Dr. Robl has a strong background in veterinary surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and specialized orthopedic procedures. He has also performed research and wildlife veterinary work around the world including work in Indonesia, Cambodia, Rwanda, D. R. Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Suriname. Associate Veterinarian Dr. Nicole Cady, DVM Dr. Cady completed her D.V.M. at the University of California, Davis, in 2020, followed by a post-doctoral research fellowship through the University of California Global Health Institute. Her clinical experience is primarily in general practice and she is passionate about continually improving patient care through lifelong learning and a collaborative approach with clients and the medical team. She has strong interests in surgery, population health, and evidence-based medicine. A Michigan native and Spartan alumna, Dr. Cady now embraces the year-round outdoor adventures the Sierra Nevada mountains provide. Community Hospital Operations Manager Nicole Ferris Nicole has been in the field since 2004 where she started her career as a veterinary assistant in Scottsdale, Arizona. After working in Arizona and California, Nicole moved to Reno where she attended TMCC and graduated with her associates in applied science of Veterinary Technology in 2014. Since becoming a credentialed Veterinary Technician, Nicole has continued learning to advance her skills enabling her to provide the best possible care. She joined the Pet Network Community Hospital in 2024 as the Hospital’s Operations Manager. She is thrilled to be part of such an amazing team that shares her passion and devotion to provide the best medical care for the pets of our community. Licensed Veterinary Technician Kristie Fairbanks Kristie joined the Pet Network Community hospital team in 2023. She completed her Bachelor degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont in 2010 and has been working in the veterinary field since. She became a credentialed Veterinary technician in 2018 and has a special interest in anesthesia and pain management. She is happy to have found an organization whose mission aligns with her own values. Veterinary Assistant Devin Zamora Devan has worked in animal welfare for almost 8 years and for a few different organizations. In 2024 he took on the role of Veterinarian Assistant for Pet Network's Community Hospital. Devan is thankful to continue his work with animals and hopes to make a positive impact for the pets of Incline Village. Veterinary Assistant Persia Sarsangi Persia began working in animal welfare in 2013 in Austin, Texas where she expanded her love for animals while discovering the beauty of community outreach. While having experience in behavioral dog handling, AKC trick dog certifications, and working with exotic animals, her biggest passion is helping her community through veterinary medicine. Community Hospital Virtual Assistant Heather Interrante Heather received a degree in Social Work in 1999, with a concentration in Behavior Modification Therapy. She utilized her education to assist adolescents and juveniles in residential rehabilitation facilities in Southern California for more than 10 years. Heather served as a child advocate in the Los Angeles County court system, assisting in family reunification and child placement.
