Emergency & After-Hours Care
For after-hours urgent medical concerns, we have partnered with VetTriage to offer live video teletriage services. VetTriage veterinarians are available 24/7 to assess your pet over a live video chat for a small fee of $50.
They can help determine whether your pet needs immediate emergency care or can be safely monitored at home until we reopen. If emergency treatment is needed, they will help coordinate a visit to a local on-call or emergency veterinary hospital.​
Through VetTriage, you can immediately connect with a licensed veterinarian by live video 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For a $50 consultation fee, a VetTriage veterinarian will assess your pet’s condition and help you decide the next best step.

If your pet needs urgent in-person treatment, the VetTriage team will help guide you to appropriate emergency care.

What about when we're open?
The Community Hospital is happy to accomodate Urgent Care appointments when our schedule permits during open hours! If your pet needs to be seen urgently (non-emergency) during our regular operating hours, call (775) 298-2715. Please note our support staff may refer you to VetTriage if our veterinarians are at capacity during the time of your call.
