The Client Service Representative works in all aspects of client service including greeting and assisting clients and guests, completing adoptions, scheduling appointments, handling financial transactions, and assisting throughout the shelter as needed.

Animal Care Attendant 

(Full Time & Part Time)

The Animal Care Attendant is responsible for providing humane care of the animals at Pet Network Humane Society, including feeding, cleaning and kennel maintenance, enrichment, exercise, and ensuring their health and safety. Animal Care Attendants (ACA) also assist customers with adoptions, interact with volunteers and help to maintain animal records.

Community Hospital Jobs

Join our thriving Community Hospital and support a movement of affordable, high-touch veterinary care in Lake Tahoe.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

(Full Time)

The Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) works with the Director of Community Medicine, veterinarians, veterinary assistants and CSRs to ensure a high level of care for all patients at the Pet Network Community Hospital.  This includes a variety of surgical, medical, educational, and clerical duties.  The Licensed Veterinary Technician  performs these duties either independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific directions and instructions, or under the direct supervision of the Hospital Directors. The LVT elicits the help of veterinary assistants in performing these tasks.  Veterinarians are available full time to assist and educate in any new procedures for which the LVT does not feel proficient.
