When Gulliver was found wandering the streets as a stray, it was clear that life had not been kind to him. A closer examination revealed the source of his pain—a fractured femur that had been left untreated, causing it to heal improperly and leaving him in chronic discomfort. Despite all he had endured, Gulliver remained gentle and trusting, as though he knew he had finally found a place where he would be cared for.
