Our local Lake Tahoe and Incline Village partners along with National partners make our work at Pet Network possible. Partnerships As the Executive Director of Pet Network Humane Society, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership. Your partnership has been instrumental in our ability to provide care and shelter for countless animals. Without you, we would not be able to reach as many animals or make as big of an impact. Your support has truly made a difference and we are eternally grateful. With heartfelt gratitude, Simi Balter Our National Partners Pet Network Humane Society is a proud recipient of funding from the Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation, a private charitable foundation based in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The Duffields are long-time benefactors of companion animal causes, education initiatives and veteran services, and are the founders of Maddie’s Fund® , a leading animal welfare foundation dedicated to revolutionizing the status and well-being of companion animals. They honor the spirit of their dog Maddie in their philanthropy pursuits to thank her for her love and companionship. Pet Network Humane Society is deeply grateful to Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation for its generous support of our organization, and commitment to improving the lives of our dogs and cats. #ThanksToMaddie Maddie’s® Pet Project in Nevada aims to elevate the status and well-being of cats and dogs across the state through partnerships that increase adoptions from animal shelters and improve access to veterinary care in underserved areas. Maddie’s® Pet Project in Nevada is made possible by the generosity of the Nevada-based Dave & Cheryl Duffield Foundation as well as Maddie’s Fund®. The campaign is in memory of the Duffield’s beloved dog, Maddie. Maddie’s Fund ® is a family foundation created in 1994 by Workday ® co-founder Dave Duffield and his wife, Cheryl, who have endowed the Foundation with more than $300 million. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than $225.7 million in grants toward increased community lifesaving, shelter medicine education, and pet adoptions across the U.S. The Duffields named Maddie’s Fund after their Miniature Schnauzer Maddie, who always made them laugh and gave them much joy. Maddie was with Dave and Cheryl for ten years and continues to inspire them today. Maddie’s Fund is the fulfillment of a promise to an inspirational dog, investing its resources to create a no-kill nation where every dog and cat is guaranteed a healthy home or habitat. #ThanksToMaddie. Best Friends Animal Society , founded in its present form in 1993, is an American nonprofit 501 animal welfare organization. The group does outreach nationwide with shelters, rescue groups and members to promote pet adoption, no-kill animal rescue, and spay-and-neuter practices. BISSELL Pet Foundation exists to support animal welfare organizations and provide resources to underserved communities. This includes helping to reduce the number of animals in shelters and rescues through pet adoption, spay/neuter programs, vaccinations, microchipping, and emergency support.
