At Pet Network Lake Tahoe, every shelter animal we care for—and every community pet who visits our hospital—depends on reliable electrical power. But here in Tahoe, winter storms are as much a part of life as the snow itself. When the lights go out, so does the equipment that provides critical, life-supporting care: ventilators, Intensive Care Units, surgical monitors– even the heating units themselves. Suddenly, what should be a safe, warm environment becomes uncertain.

This Giving Tuesday, you can become a Wish Granter. Together, we’re raising funds for a generator that will ensure no animal’s care is ever interrupted by a power outage.​ We’ve got a $40,000 match on the table! Tito’s Handmade Vodka ($5,000), Bev & Doug Keil ($25,000) and Jody Gunderson and Earle Curtice ($10,000) have teamed up so every gift is matched until we reach $40,000. Twice the good.
