Make Your Pet a Star Contest – Official Rules


Prize: One lucky pet (and their owner) will be featured in an on-air interview on KOLO8 with Pet Network Humane Society.


How to Enter

  1. Submit a photo of your cat(s) or dog(s) along with their name and a short description of what makes them a star.

  2. Entries must be submitted by October 31, 2025.

  3. Limit one entry per household.

Eligibility

  • Open to pet guardians who are 18 years or older

  • Pets must be your own (no third-party submissions).

  • By entering, you grant Pet Network Humane Society and KOLO8 permission to use your photo, name, and entry for promotional purposes.

Winner Selection

  • Winner will be chosen based on creativity, personality, and star quality.

  • The winner will be announced on [insert announcement date] via Pet Network’s social media and contacted directly.

Prize Details

  • Winner will receive an on-air interview segment on KOLO8 featuring themselves and their pet, alongside Pet Network staff on a mutually agreeable date. 

  • Winners will also receive an exclusive Pet Network swag bag.

  • No cash alternative. Prize is non-transferable.

Additional Rules

  • By entering, participants agree to abide by these rules and decisions of Pet Network and KOLO8, which are final.

  • Pet Network and KOLO8 are not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries.

  • Contest is void where prohibited by law.
